Moyale prey on Karonga United 4-0 as Dwangwa stun Tigers: Malawi TNM Super League

Moyale FC on Saturday beat Karonga United  by four goal without a reply  at Mzuzu Stadium.

Khuda Myaba open the goal line in the seventh minutes of the game beating unorganized Karonga defense, before  Boyboy Chima and Dan Katunga added each in the 15th and 17th minutes to make it thre.

Myaba come back in the 38th minutes to hit a brace beating an off side trap and was played on by ady referee Mercy Mziya.

Second half Moyale introduced their long time hit man Gasten Simkonda, his comeback to the side.

Speaking after the game Karonga coach Kondwani Mwalweni expressed sadness with the thrashing.

” It wasn’t our day and losing with such goals wasn’t my expectation ,” said Mwalweni.

Moyale’s coach Collings Nkuna said he was pleased with the win.

“What a good way of collecting three points. Convincing win,” he said.

Moyale now have accumulated 14 points from eight games.

Elsewhere, Dwangwa United stunned Azam Tigers when they beat the Kau-Kau boys 2-1 at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

In Lilongwe, Kamuzu Barracks beat rookies Max Bullets 2-0 with goals from Harvey Nkacha and Manse Chiyesa.
