Mr Muscle and Miss Bikini set to lighten up Easter in Malawi
There will be triple fan on Easter weekend as Mr Muscle, Miss Bikini and Mulhako women are set to entertain crowds concurrently in Salima.
Organizers of the recently announced Miss Bikini, Primic Inc have decided to unveil Mr Muscle on the same days as the Miss Bikini beach beauty fashion show to entertain both ladies and men.
According to Primic Inc’s Creative and Promotions Director Mike Chokhotho, Mr Muscle is more of a woman sort of entertainment as compared to Miss Bikini.
The events will run from Friday 3rd April at Kambiri Lodge in Salima then on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th April at Sunbird Nkopola Lodge where the finals will take place.
“I have decided to introduce Mr Muscle which will run every year this time around. This will differ from Mr Malawi that I introduced sometime back in 1999 because this time around the concentration is not only on healthy strong men but muscle isolation which means we are targeting more muscular participants,” explained Chokhotho.
“Since this is only the beginning, next year we will target international body builders to be a part of the event,” added Chokhotho.
He said they have also decided to bring in a traditional touch to the entertainment.
“We have been hearing a lot of talk from the public that miss bikini is un Malawian in nature so what we have done is to bring in girls from Mulhako Wa Alhomwe from Phalombe, T/A Mkumba who will perform with bare breasts in between the fashion show to spice it all up,” he disclosed.
Mr Muscle has already attracted sponsorship from Mulli Holdings, Times Group, Ryalls Protea Hotel, Kaya Lounge and Sunbird Hotels.
