Multichoice Malawi introduces self care service application

Multichoice Malawi has developed a mobile service application called Short Message Application (SMA) where DStv customers will be able to transact a number of businesses.

According to an SMA Customer care DSTV presentation, the service will be accessible to customers with smart phones with Android platform, Iphones and some specified Nokia and Samsung branded phones.

The service will also allow subscribers to manage their accounts by being able to view account details, customer details, transaction details, clear error codes and update contact details by going online using their phones.

Multichoice Malawi Marketing Manager, Chimwemwe Nyirenda said the service will soon be available to Blackberry users across the country.

“As you may be aware, we have quite a big number of Blackberry users in the country so the service will soon be accessible to such kind of phone users,” said Nyirenda.

Before the introduction of this service, the only way customers would access the above services was by physically visiting Multichoice offices across the country.
