The Mulunguzi Trust, a charity aiming to promote and support education in Malawi has receivied a cash boost of £250 from the Malawi Association Midlands in UK.
This came in response from a call from Mulunguzi Secondary School where the Mulunguzi Alumni Association are supporting 27 needy students who can’t afford their tuition fees due to being orphaned and other related issues.
Stewart Mpekansambo, chairman for Malawi Association Midlands said they would love to mobilise more resources to support Mulunguzi Trust in its objectives and that they would love to follow the progresses of these supported students.
Apart from supporting of students, of which the Mulunguzi Trust have been doing for the past 3 years, they have also raised funds to purchase 150 chairs in 2005, among other projects.
Malembe Makawa the chairman, Mulunguzi Trust, commended the association for the donation and appealed to other well wishers to help.
