Murder victim Mukhova Jr mourned by hundreds

Several hundred friends and family of Harrison Mukhova junior, the 19-year-old brutally murdered last week in Blantyre by unknown thugs, mourned his passing on Monday during a funeral ceremony at Misesa cemetery.

He was found dead after being  fatally stabbed by suspected robbers in the early morning hours of 15th November in Chigumula  township,

The deceased uncle Kenneth Nzunga  said the family is struggling to come to terms with his death.

“It is a very difficult situation we are in. The human life is worth so much more” said Nzunga as mourners wailed.

He then urged anyone with information of the killers  to come forward.

“Please just cooperate with the police and share the information,” he said, adding

“You know it’s not going to bring him back, but at least these evil people  won’t do it again or hurt another family.”

Speaking at the same funeral, ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) national youth
director Lewis Ngalande paid tribute to the murder victim, saying he was a loss to the nation.

  10. Yes..we sympathize with the family for their loss. But that is as far as I will go. This young chap was terror in BCA/Chigumula. He was involved with robbers and gangsters. It was an open secret that he was involved in the brutal attack on the innocent Rev at Chigumula CCAP and, worst, in the murder of a Burundi businessman. Where on earth was he on that Friday night?

Please don’t use my tax to feed in these congested prisons for these heartless robbers who have snuffed out the life from the young innocent man.What has gone long with our country?Where is the much security we were promised during the campaign time?The police should make sure to brow out their pea brained heads from these scumbags before they finish us.Somebody somewhere should be having information.Please police comb everywhere for these bloodsuckers.My heart is bleeding for this young man.
