Music producer ‘Pro Pee’ engages Ayanna Ngosi

It was a weekend of events as the country was celebrating its 50 years of independence, but for some it was time to denounce their independence.

Percy Manyozo, a Malawian music producer well-known for his “Pro Pee” signature, got engaged to his long time sweetheart, Ayanna Phyle Ngosi.

Percy and Ayanna got engaged on Saturday, 5th July at the Ngosi’s residence in Namiwawa, Blantyre.

“It’s a memorable experience and beyond what we expected”, Percy told Nyasa Showbiz  Saturday night. “Love is a beautiful thing and life is too short so make it count.”

“I have gone through phases in my life and I have realised how much I have grown as a man, so I needed to take the next step in life,” said the record producer.

Added Percy: “It took us a long time to get where we are today. Ayanna is the woman I want to marry and share my life with.”

Gracing the engagement ceremony were urban music artists like Bucci, AyCee James (who was the aid for the bride-to-be) and Percy’s fellow producer and pianist, Alex Chitheka, who was his aid.

The couple is expected to tie the knot on 25 October, 2014 at the Malawi College of Medicine Sports Complex.
