MGDS III runs from 2017 t0 2022 partially within Vision 2020. The National Transport Master Plan runs from 2017 to 2037 well outside the 4th medium term strategy (MGDS III). DPP is contesting in the 2019 general elections and might lose; but even of they win, they might not be there to see the NTMP through. Nacara corridor is operational why are still getting goods through Dar es salaam and Beira. 20 plus years ago planes were landing in Mzuzu Airport in dairy basis but today is just a master plan. Makhanga, Liwonde and Lutchenza were growing and would have been highly developed now cause of railway line. Malawi 2018
Real jokers. 4 billion windfall to the MPs is enough money to kick start the process but alas! Too much talk without action! The plan is just one of the many that wont see the light of day!
