Speaking on arrival at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) from the United States of America (USA) where he had attended the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Mutharika said the challenge that the country faced with the previous Millennium Development Goals (MDG) was luck of resources.

“I will be discussing with the cabinet on how best to implement the new sustainable goals especially by ensuring that resources are available through the national budget.”

He said 17 SDGs were adopted during the meeting and countries will be required to work on for a period of 15 years.

He then said for the new sustainable goal there was need for the country to devise policies that will support them and that sufficient resources must be included in the implementation of the goals.

The President and First Lady, Madam Gertrude Mutharika were welcomed by the Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima, US Ambassador to Malawi, Virginia Palmer, Cabinet Ministers, Government Officials and DPP gurus.

If Clement sends stupid comments it’s because of your barbaric comments against the president. I can’t leave our president being insulted by dogs like you josh whatever the name is. If things not working out find something to do not talking nonsense against our president and DPP and you must know that Clement is not a bootlicker. Finally DPP whether you like it or not will be rulling beyond 2050. The problems Malawi facing is not because of prof Peter and DPP never and it doesn’t need me to explain one by one.

To bring to book all cash gate suspects,
To defend lake malawi from being siezed,
To make sure that malawians know where about of their jet.

I don’t see words like accountability, responsibility and commitment Here. As usual this will just be discussions and meetings to get allowances with no results

About resources, we have plenty. If you hear the amounts stolen from the government, the mansions and complex buildings that people who steal from the govt build i do not believe that we do not have resources. Lack of integrity and the people who stole are the same in the govt so v wouldn’t expect anything but talk with no action.
