Natasha talks of abusive husband, denies using sex toys in BBA

Malawi’s Big Brother Africa (BBA) The Chase evictee Natasha Tonthola has said she came out of an abusive marriage and wants to campaign against early marriages.

“I married at a tender age but sadly to an abuser who turned me into a punching bag,” revealed Natasha during  MBC’s Good Morning Malawi programme.

“I have scratches which [my former husband] caused on my body because of perpertual abuse,” said the single-mum.

“My husband was well educated and was working with an NGO but still had the guts to abuse me,” she told MBC.

Natasha said she want to dedicate much of her time into working for charity on girls empowerment, saying President Joyce Banda – who also came out of an abusive marriage – inspired her vision of woeman and girl-child empowerment.

“Empowerment of girls can produce president like Joyce Banda and help the development of the entire country and African continent ,” she said expressing interest to meet President Banda and share her vision of charity work.

“I want to be an ambassador for the girl child,” said Natasha.

Meanwhile, Natasha rebutted reports that she used a sex vibrator in the Big Brother Africa house.

“I never used a vibrator,” she said and admitted having talked about the sex toy.

Natasha went to the BBA as Malawi representative alongside former TV presentor Fatima Nkata.
