Among others Ndalama also donated exercise books and first aid kit, which she believes will make the difference in the community where she was raised up.

Speaking in an interview with Nyasa Times during the donation on Thursday, Ndalama said she made a donation of sports kit to the school team considering that the members are also doing well in their academic endeavors where in the last exams about 10 of them obtained positions 1 to 8.

“My aim is not only to support football but also motivating them to work hard in their studies. I want them to understand that sports is ahobby not a career, I will continue investing the little I have to support them one way or the other,” she said

However, Ndalama said she is passionate to see young stars making it big in life than being engaged in immoral behaviors like alcohol consumption which later spoil them.

“Young people who drink are likely to be the victims of violent crime, to be involved in alcohol-related traffic accidents, and to have depression and anxiety. Other risky behaviors are also linked to early drinking,” added Ndalama.

Ndalama re-affirms her commitment in supporting the ministry of sports in making sure that the youths are participating in sporting activities by providing necessary resources in the discipline.

Receiving the donation, Biwi primary school team Coach Steven Macheta expressed gratitude for the gesture describing it as timely.

He also appealed to well-wishers to do the same in their respective areas saying better tomorrow is possible when young stars are saved from immorality through engaging them in various sporting activities.
