Nde’feyo Entertainment, Armstrong part ways

Nde’feyo Entertainment and the celebrated urban artist, Armstrong have parted ways following the artist’ interest to pursue his career as gospel singer.

Armstrong who is now a Born Again (BA) has since confirmed of his move into gospel music industry through his Facebook page.

According to Nde’feyo Entertainment statement  which Nyasa Times has sourced, the termination of contract between Armstrong and the company, which has been his record label and artist-management firm, follows his official resignation.

The company says despite the artist’s interest to pursue a gospel music career and having a gospel sub-label, Armstrong is not part of Nde’feyo Gospel work-plan.

“Meanwhile, our lawyers are handling his early contract termination so that his release TERMS are met. We cordially thank Armstrong for his contribution and working time with us, and wish him all the best in his future endeavors, especially as he pursues his career as gospel artist,” reads the statement in part.

Armstrong’s resignation comes just weeks after his label-mate, Piksy also tendered his resignation letter.

Born Sopani Kalua, Armstrong was signed to the Nde’feyo Entertainment in 2011.

He has released one album Ndele under the label as well a mix-tape BrB.

Meanwhile, Armstrong is reported to have released three gospel singles, which he is yet to let out to the public, and has since renounced his public performances as secular artist.
