New Land Rover dealer in Malawi – Cope Motors
Land Rover cars producer has appointed Cope Motors Limited in Malawi to become their new franchise holders.
The Lilongwe based Cope Motors takes over the deal from Mike Appel & Gatto’s subsidiary, Halls Land Rover Limited that has been selling and servicing Land Rovers since 2009.
Cope Motors says it is humbled by the appointment as it is an indication that the international business community still has trust in Malawi.
A statement from Guava International Land Rover regional business manager Dean Robinson says the company is delighted to announce the appointment of Cope Motors Limited as the new and exclusive franchised Land Rover/Range Rover dealer in Malawi effective February 1 2012.
“Land Rover looks forward to the new approach and stability Cope Motors Limited will bring to the sales and, most importantly, ‘after sales’ service to their customers in Malawi,” reads the statement.
Land Rover says it is thankful to the former dealer for services rendered during the time it had the franchise.
Guava International is a division of RMA Group and represents Jaguar and Land Rover across the globe managing authorised Land Rover vehicle, parts and service business.
This is done through a dealer network spanning across 60 countries in Eastern and Central Europe, Central Asia, Asia Pacific and sub-Saharan Africa.
