Ngwenyama organizes an international boxing fiesta

One of the big promoters of boxing in Malawi Ngwenyama boxing promotions has organized an international boxing fiesta which will involve boxers from Malawi and Tanzania.

The international boxing fiesta will take place in Lilongwe on 1 October, 2017 at M1 Centre Point along the M1 road which will see Tanzanian boxer, Nurudin Ibrahim exchange punches with Alick Gogodo of Malawi in a 12 round nontitle bout.

Owner and organizer of the fight, Patrick Ngwenyama said all is set for the big fight come 1 October.

“All the two boxers are very good in terms of weight and also on the ground, they have the same weight which in Malawi only three people have and that’s why I chose these two boxers so that people should watch real and entertaining fight from them,” said Ngwenyama.

Nurudin Ibrahim is a Tanzanian boxer with a good record. In his career he has fought 16 bouts lost only one fight two draws and 13 wins.

Ngwenyama urged all boxing lovers to come and watch the fight as they will be entertained with good professional boxing.

“Malawians should come in large numbers to see how these boxers will tread barbs and also witness who will carry the day.

“Alick Gogodo is also a good fighter he has taken long without fighting in the ring so he is back and people should come and watch how he is fighting nowadays,” added Ngwenyama.

On the same day there will also be supporting bouts as Kudakwache Banda will be facing Lameck Mkangama, Robert Kachiza will take on Yamikani Mkandawire.

Ringman Makwinja will exchange punches with Alexander Likande while Damian Mphepo will fight with Yusuf Ali.
