Nigeria synagogue ‘prophet’ T.B Joshua ignores Mutharika, hails Magufuli of Tanzania

A  popular Nigerian  Prophet T.B Joshua, founder and leader of the Synagogue Church of all nations has ignored to respond  to Malawian President Peter Mutharika accusations that he is fake evangelist and instead has  praised Tanzania President John Magufuli.

Mutharika publicly attacked  Joshua over an alleged prophecy that he would die soon.

“Let me tell you, Joshua… you will fail. What you did in 2012 will not happen again this year,” Mutharika said  in the capital Lilongwe.

In 2012, Prophet Joshua reportedly predicted the death of a president of an unnamed southern African country.  Bingu wa  Mutharika’s brother, Bingu, who was president at the time, did die within the predicted time frame, giving the prophesy strong currency in Malawi.

Since Mutharika questioned Joshua’s credentials as a prophet, the preacher has not responded.

However, in apparent jibe to Mutharika, the Synagogue prophet has hailed President Magufuli of Tanzania – the neighbours of Malawi.

“A leader should rule in righteousness and in the fear of God so that he can be like a torch for everybody, a shining example for everyone to see,” said T.B Joshua in praising President-of-the-moment Magufuli.

“When one rules over people in righteousness, when he rules in the fear of God, he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings grass from the earth,” the Nigerian preacher said citing Holy Bible verse (2 Samuel 23:3-4).

Reports says that way before Magufuli’s run for presidential  office he had frequently visited Joshua in Nigeria with his family.

But Mutharika attacked Joshua wondering why he not foretold the collapse of a guesthouse in his sprawling Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos in September 2014, which left 116 people dead.

“This all shows that he is a liar. He just wants to raise money,” said  76-year-old Mutharika, pledging to be around in 2019 for the next presidential elections, and in also 2024, when – if re-elected – he will wrap up his last term.

  14. When Hezekiah was told by the prophet of God that he would die, he pleaded with God for mercy. God held his prayer and added 15 years to his life. Mr president sir, why could you not ask the Almighty for mercy. This is the only way to avert it. There is still. You can do it.

There is a high possibility that APM may not be what he appears to be in the eyes of the majority of simple Malawians. The battle line has been drawn between the two powerful dominions. They are both of a spiritual nature one from the domain of righteousness and the other from the domain of darkness and destruction. Today is Sunday, 27th March, 2016, only four days to go as we approach the conclusion of the battle between these two domains. Shortly before April, 2016, one of these two domains will prove their worth. Zimvere mu mtolo! There will be no injury time added. This battle must be concluded on the dot of the prophetic second. Watch the space, the prophecy said ‘ February and before April ‘ Truth always prevails over lies! It’s a battle between the domain of truth and domain of lies’.     I always wonder why APM decided to answer the prophecy while TB Joshua didn’t mention the president’s name who is gonna kiss the mama earth.

Well I am not surprised at all, his elder brother the late kahuna did the same, he openly said he is not a son of God rather he was/ is the son of the devil, now if the elder brother was a son of the devil, he brought his young brother from the same father devil I am not sure why would he not attack the man of GOD?   46. Could Mutharika be featured into the encounter between Magufuli and TB Joshua? I guess not. The story could have only focussed on Magufuli and by TB Joshua not responding to Mutharika bears no relevance in this whole story.

  48. What I like about the prophet of God is that he never replies his critics. Instead, he prays for them and leaves his battle for God. He behaves exactly like Jesus Christ. That is why he is always victorious over his enemies. The enemies don’t realise it. God has given Tb Joshua’s enemies foolishness.

  67. What does anyone benefit from a prophecy that some one will die. The living know that they will die. When Isaiah in the bible was told Hezekiah will die, Isaiah went directly to Hezekiah and not everyone. Prophesy for natios must be specific not in general. With climate change, there are all sorts of natural disasters. We will benefit from prophesy when we re told what to do not just say some disaster will happen. As we are speaking now, there is certainly some kind of disaster happening in some parts of the world.

    To those who seek the Lord and His Rightiousness will find it only in the Bible.
    Take a closer look into these contemporaly ”men of God” as they claim, you will find that they amass praises for themselves by simply making ”prophesies. Mostly of doom to God’ people. In so doing they expect people to come to them to ask more on these and letter huge sums are given to them in their accounts as pay that they brind us by calling them offering. Shame on them.

    Take an example of a man King Hezekkiah who the man of God came with the bad news! Note: man of God came with the news to the King, he didn’t use a Letter but he himself came to the king telling him (king hezekkia) to set his house in older, he (prophet) came with what God told him to tell to the king who letter repented and Good God grant the king life.

    God will always let us know the sins that will kill us and he gives us time to set our houses in older.
    Who is this God with doom without letting us know our problems but rather he is quick to kill us?
    Who is this God keeping us in suspense about who is dying and devide us like this while searching who really is dying?
    Instead of working and prayingIndeed, we spend musch time asking each other ”who is dying this time.

    Long ago when one predict or prophecy about someone’s death, people turned against him saying ”he is a witch, these morden days with secular humanists people say ”that one is a prophet. My gosh!

    April has been a month where president bingu died, now it seem this other prediction is about april too, this tells me ”we have a god of death of april. Wake up people.     1. If you read again that book you claim to like, you would realise that it is “the ides of March i.e idus martiae – a day on the Roman Calendar which corresponds to 15th March.

      Nde inu za “ides of Much” mukuzitenga kuti? And what does ides of much mean, anyway?
