The Bible tells us that the wise seek wisdom and tread carefully in their lives. Knowing that CHILIMA is dealing with THUGS that would do anything to kill him, disturb him and even thwart every move he makes, he has chosen to be wise. This is why I am quite disappointed with disparaging remarks from Ntata. CHILIMA was an ardent student who led similar movement that fought with Kamuzu in 1992 as a student at Chancellor College and coordinating the three colleges. He learnt a few lessons and over time. Obviously, life has also further taught him some few lessons… Read more »

I think Kyala, you did not comprehend Chilima’s speach a very few months ago, when he said his Party will work for all Malawians to participate in building our country, the notion that was introduced by our founding fathers like the: Masauko Chipember,Kanyama Chiume,Orton Chirwa,Dunduzu Chisiza,Augustin Bwanausi, Whilly Chokani,Yatuta Chisiza and Rose Chiwambo. The birth of Malawi as an independent state started in the conflict between the opposing forces of African nationalism and colonial suppression. The struggle for independence of our country resulted in the short time of national stability. In the first days of independence,September 1964,just less than eight weeks of independence,Malawi experienced a… Read more »

Chilima is an opportunist and he has nothing to offer. His speech will be for campaign purposes not because he has the ability to change the country. He just wants to be president by lying to people that he is better.

Nobody in Malawi can trust Chilima except Patricia Kaliati and her followers… All the sufferings Malawians are facing today, is because of him SKC, he is the leader in the rigging of the 2014 electoral results, ndi mbava yodetsa nkhawa and nobody can vote him into power….NEVER!

AM HUGELY DISAPPOINTED WITH NTATA. AM EVEN FAILING TO UNDERSTAND THIS IS COMING FROM HIM. BY ALL MEANS, CHILIMA NEEDED TO WAIT FOR DPP CONVENTION FIRST BEFORE TALKING TO MALAWIANS ABOUT HIS VISION. TIME IS NOT JUST RIGHT FOR HIM TO OPEN HIS MOUTH NOW. I CAN ASSURE NTATA THAT CHILIMA WILL BE MAKING HIS POSITION KNOWN VERY SHORTLY. PEOPLE EXPECT HIM TO OUTLINE A NUMBER OF ISSUES TOUCHING ON DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF LIFE SUCH AS POWER, HEALTH, AGRICULTURE, EDUCATION, CORRUPTION, UNEMPLOYMENT, ECONOMY, DISASTER MGT, TOURISM, ETC. HE NEEDES TIME TO PUT HIS FACTS TOGETHER. YOU CANT JUST RUSH OR… Read more »

Allan this is well said. How I wish the VP could read this. He needs to come out of his cocoon and tell Malawians what his agenda is. He should also avoid using the shield of the Catholic Church podium

Another point Chilima must understand is that by too much clinging to or using the Catholic Church, he is alienating the majority of Christians who are not catholic and also alienating Muslims. He should use normal political platforms like what his followers or supporters such akweni, etc are doing if he is really serious about running for presidency in 2019. His religion is a personal matter and shouldn’t Be mixed with politics.
