“It’s nice to have chance to meet patients who can’t be at home with their families and also to thank the staff for keeping the hospital ticking over,” one of the Orange Partners Martin Kalima said.

The hospital administrator George Goliati appreciated the Orange Partners “good gesture.”

He indicated they were the first to cheer up the patients at the hospital this festive season.

“It’s worthwhile giving up a little bit of your Christmas time to come here, you see the impact on staff and patients,” said Goliati.

Martha Ndlhovu who was weekend cover in-charge at the hospital took the group through the tour.

People’s Party is led by Vice President Joyce Banda.
