Mighty Wanderers Technical Director, Yasin Osman, says he will iron out the club’s teething troubles he sets about “rebuilding” the blues . by among other things bringing in new players once the 2014-15 season come to an end.
Osman, who was hired by Wanderers as a Technical Director, took full charge of the Lali Lubani outfit after coach Gerald Phiri threw in the towel early this month due to pressure from the supporters following the team’s recent poor showing.
But he has reverted to the role of technical director leaving the coaching post to Kannock Munde, a legend at the Lali Lubani Road club.
Osman told Nyasa Times in an interview that despite the excellent standard of play his team is currently showcasing, there is still a need for reiforncement with new stars.
“There is still a lot of work to do as you can see most of the players in our squad are young and we need to bring in some more players,” he said.
“Once the season is over and transfer window opens, we will buy more players,” said Osman without revealing names of the targeted players.
Mighty Wanderers has managed to win all its two games since Osman took over.
Following Sundays victory over Red Lions, Mighty Wanderers have now moved to position nine on the log standings.
They have played 22 games and managed to accumulate 27 points.
The Nomads stand a chance of moving further on the log standings this weekend if they beat struggling Blantyre United who are at the bottom of the table with 14 points from 22 games.
Big Bullets F.C are at the top of the league standings with 47 points followed by Moyale Barracks with 44 points while Blue Eagles are on their position with 40 pointsFollow and Subscribe Nyasa TV :
