‘Parked’ on a roundabout in Lilongwe

Lilongwe City Centre commuters had a rude awakening Wednesday morning when they were greeted by a sight of a ‘parked’ Toyota Corolla on the Capital Hotel roundabout on the Presidential drive.

Police who were on sight and other onlookers had no idea what happened as to who the owner of the vehicle was.

Photojournalist Naomie Nyirenda was on sight and captured these pictures.

Dont see how the roundabout structure is a death trap because whether the structure was there on not, these vehicle would have ended up in the same position or worse still would have gone on the other side and collided with another vehicle. Lets just pray for those who were involved in the accident
