Piksy ‘defines music’ with household track Unamata

The most used definition of music is that it is the “discipline of sound”. Others say music brings people together and that it makes the world go around. But as far as Malawian musician Piksy songs are concerned, they bring the most wanted feeling in peoples life love.

Born Evance Zangazanga, but known with his artist name  Pikys or Langwani, the 25 year-old who made name under Atumwi brand after his first album Machitidwe Atumwi continues to rise to stardom.

The way he mixes his mature lyrics from local lingua-franca to English has left a lot of people fall in love with his genre of music.

If truth is to be told, Piksy is one of the most talented young men who now stands shoulder to shoulder with the cream of Malawi musicians. He has collaborated with Lucius Banda in Ndalephera kupilira, added his voice in singing sensational Maskal’ s hit Wa Cv which has been a household song for more than two years nw.

He has been sensation with tracks like  Pamudzi, Mwadokela, Chipwilikiti and the once much talked Sendeza which he did with his mate Nthumwi Nicodemo.

Pikys latest sensation Unamata is now proving to be so popular like an anthem.

In Unamata, Piksy talks how happy he is now with his sweetheart which to him proves to be real love.

The relicsin the chorus of his new track goes :

mmene ena amaseka ati ndatheka unanditsata

 eyaa kumatamata mata mat akumata

Now signed by Ndefeyo Entertainment company, Piksy’s music will be part of the music video compilation the record label is planning to release later this, comprising other Ndefeyo’s artists, which include Maskal and the Afro Hip-Hop duo Biriwiri of Zizwa and Khumbo.
