Piksy reveals baby name

Singer Piksy has revealed the name of his new baby son. He is less than 3 weeks into being a daddy for the first time, but Piksy has this whole parenting thing down on point. Well, mostly. When contacted on Monday night, he shared what the learning curve of becoming a father was like — and the fun story behind how his baby with Vitumbiko Alcardia Pagaja, little Izindie, got his name!

“Vitu and I would like to welcome Izindie Joy Zangazanga to the world. May your life be filled with good health, happiness, wonder, love and laughter.” said Piksy when contacted earlier this week.

“Both mom and baby-boy are doing very well. We feel so blessed,” continued Piksy sighting the baby’s name has a significant meaning.

“Our baby’s name is not just like any other baby name, it means a lot. The name Izindie and my surname Zangazanga makes a brings a lot more meaning, when directly translated to English, it means ‘This is Mine’

which shows ‘proprietorship and pride’ to have him as my son.

According to Piksy, he and his wife didn’t have to fight about the baby’s name because they reached an easy consensus on it. Like Piksy, Vitu is fond of symbolic representations. He said that both of them like to talk about interesting philosophical issues.

“That you can observe everything from so many different perspectives and analyze it and go deep in it,” Piksy said.

Izindie Zangazanga is singer Piksy and long-term fiancée Vitumbiko Pagaja’s first child. He was born at 2:50PM on Monday, October 27th, 2014 at Nguludi Mission Hospital.

  10. I see alot of pride in you Piksy. If you consider yourself a star and role model in society get married. Why have a long time fiancee?Do you know how expensive it is nowadays to raise a child? If you cannot make her your wife you have no right to be too prideful of being a father. If you love, her marry her.And you Vitumbiko, don’t be stupid again to have another baby with him without him putting a wedding ring on your finger.Usafele fame. He’s not fully yours until he commits, you deserve better.
