CHAIMA-YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY STUPID. The function of the police is not to run elections. Go back to the Malawi constitution to learn what your functions are and adhere to the same. Moreover, the police is supposed to be non-partisan. The letter you have sent to CHILIMA if anything should have come from the Chairperson of MEC. Why are you crying out louder than the bereaved as if what CHILIMA talked about is within your domain when those directly responsible for the function are just doing their job. When did the rigging machine come to Malawi Chilima? Tells the police what you know.
Chilima’s problem now is to give evidence there was rigging and in doing so implicate himself. We will all see how corrupt and dishonest he has been. Why did n’t he say this before? If there was rigging it means he should not have become VP.
The Police is daring Chilima and Malawi will be the winners as the real will come out. There’s no way Chilima would make empty accusations without evidence or some inside info. Charging him would mean him revealing internal DPP secrets and The Police isn’t ready for that. This is why I always say that our DPP leaders (who are Police puppet masters) aren’t the sharpest pencils in the pack. they don’t think through the consequences of their actions……but then I am not surprised.
