The launch took place at the Polytechnic and was attended by Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) President,  Michael Khomani who opened up the event.

Khomani said “the society has already managed to show potential of a very bright future and I believe that it will be more than able to nurture marketing students towards the success of their careers”.

The sponsors, First Merchant Bank had its Marketing Manager (FMB), Mr Nsona in attendance.

“At FMB, we look at these marketing students not only as our future customers but as our future employees as well and that was the primary motivation for sponsoring this event,” Nsona said.

He added “we feel that supporting these students will motivate them to work hard in order for them to join us in the marketing industry in the few years to come and if we are lucky enough, we might end up having these brilliant youngsters as our employees”.

Students from Malawi College of Accountancy, Catholic University have brought the society together.
