The gifted Zambian Christian musician will be the leading act at a concert dubbed ‘Giant Killer Experience’ at the BICC’s Pabwalo Amphitheatre on 3rd December.

Nthanda Artworks Dimensions (NAD) are the organisers of the show and have since disclosed outlets where the singer’s eagerly awaiting fans can purchase tickets beforehand at K7,000 against the gate price of K8,000.

“Getting early tickets is very convenient as people will buy the tickets near to where they live and they will not need to wait on a long queue on the day of the event. This is in addition to getting a discounted ticket and saving K 1000,” explains Maureen Chirwa, administration manager at NAD.

While disclosing they have printed 3,000 tickets, Chirwa adds that “those getting early tickets will have an advantage of securing a place at the show where there might be limited seats”.

In the host city Lilongwe, patrons can buy tickets at Steers City Centre, Bwandilo Filling Station, Cheza Cafe at Game Complex where there was Papaya Restaurant and Cheza Cafe at Gateway Mall.

Fans in Blantyre can purchase tickets to the Pompi show at Word Alive Church and according to Chirwa, they are still in talks with Steers Blantyre.

“They can also buy the tickets using TNM Mpamba and National Bank ATMs and MO626,” she further reveals.

This will be the first time Pompi will be performing in Malawi as headliner following his first performance at the City of Stars Festival as a supporting act.

This time, he will be supported by Zambia’s own Olivia and Malawian acts Faith Mussa, Sam Mjura, Suffix, KBG, Khetwayo, Dhali Beats, David Kalilani and Rudo Mkukupa-Chakwera.

In Malawi, Pompi is most popular among the Christian community and other music lovers for his best known hits such as MakeupGiant Killer and Mulungu Samagona. The musician is currently working on his third album due in 2017.

Earlier this year, he released a single called Maganizo Pandeke, a song which is slowly becoming a darling to many of his Malawian fans.

Pompi released his first album Mizu in 2012, before he put out the second album Broken English in 2014.
