Pop Dogg receivies another award
Malawian born Ireland based award winning artist Pop Dogg on Saturday received Best African Irish Artist Award of the year 2017 .
The prestigious Irellywood Award Launch took place at Carlton Hotel in Dublin Ireland with the aim of promoting Irish Entertainment industry and organisations.
According to the organisers statement Danny Moore, the aim of the awards is to recognise true talent by promoting Irish Entertainment Industry.
“Our main objective is to bring ambitious individuals and organizations to work together to achieve one goal of success. Not only entertainers were honoured at the event, but also entrepreneurs, outstanding individuals, profitable and charitable organisations that makes a difference in the community. ”
Pop Dogg who has recently collaborated with Dan Lu on a song called Work So Had proves that working so hard pays off by winning another music award.
According to Pop Dogg “Music is universal, the fact that I can make a song called Malawi Moto that is all in Chichewa which the majority of people abroad do not speak and understand, and still being recognised abroad with Awards is truly humbling.
“Songs like Malawi Moto and Work So Hard has positive messages. Inspire of people bringing you down, I aim to uplift, inspire and motivate people with my music. Receiving music awards is a great achievement but to me it’s just a bonus. With that being said, I am very very ecstatic to receive such an accolade to recognise my talent, Best African Irish Artist Award. “
