President Mutharika to attend Mrs Tembo’s burial in Dedza
President Peter Mutharika will on Saturday attend the burial of Mamarita Ruth Tembo, much-respected wife to former Malawi Congress Party (MCP) president John Tembo at Kaphala Village in Traditional Authority Kaphuka in Dedza.

Mamarita Tembo died on Monday at Dae Yung Luke Hospital in Lilongwe where she had gone for treatment after a short illness and will be buried Saturday in Dedza after church service on Friday held in Lilongwe.
State House acting presidential press secretary Timpuza Mwansambo Mwale, said President Mutharika is expected to arrive at Kaphala Village at 10 o’clock in the morning.
The First Lady Gertrude Mutharika this Friday afternoon attended the sendoff ceremony for the remains of late Mrs Tembo to Dedza at Hon Tembo’s Residence in Area 10 in the city of Lilongwe.
Mrs Tembo is survived by a husband and four children.

The notoriety and thug life her husband has had can not be overlooked.many malawians would have wished that he goes first and close his chapter of.however,we know very little about her involvement in those political atrocities he committed.neverthless,as a christian-which her husband lacks-she rest in peace.
