Prophet Liabunya says ‘Chakwera will survive road accident, to rule Malawi’

Controversial senior Prophet Austin Liabunya has said a party president who is new – whom God has said will govern this country in a few years’ time – will be involved in a fatal road accident that might claim his life.

Former Assemblies of God president, Dr Lazarous Chakwera is the new party president of MCP.

“This is the second time I am talking about this accident involving this party president who is new. I saw him being involved in a serious accident that would take his life,” Liabunya prophesied on Wednesday via his official Facebook page Prophet Austin Liabunya and Winning Life Ministries.

He said he has since asked God to save the political leader from the attack.

“I prayed to God and he told me that he has heard my prayer…the accident will still take place but he will not die,” he said.

Liabunya, who has released a number of controversial prophecies regarding political leaders in the country including President Joyce Banda, said the ill-fated party president will rule Malawi in “few years to come.

“But he should not think through his party, no. What will happen here is an understandable…it will be God putting him there through His ways.”

He added: “He should just be patient, especially with the ruling party.”

Liabunya said the incumbent ruling party will give the “party president who is new” the office [of president] by the “order of God to redeem this nation.”

“I’m still asking God to tell me if it’s possible that he will rule this nation through his party but as of now there is nothing like that in the spirit,” revealed Liabunya.

He re-iterated that much as he releases political prophecies, he is not a member of any political party.

“I did not want to release this prophecy but God told me I have to for His glory.

“And you have to remember that for two years now I have been releasing prophecies for this Nation and beyond based on the will of God of which most of them came to pass in your own eyes.

“It was like I was mad when I first released the prophecy concerning the death of our former president,” he said.

Malawi goes to the first ever to be held tripartite elections next year in which the citizenry will elect Members of Parliament (MPs), ward councilors and the head of state.

Malawi’s major political parties – the MCP, UDF, PP and DPP – have already elected their torchbearers ahead of the elections. The presidential hopefuls for the parties are Rev. Lazarus Chawera (MCP), Atupele Muluzi (UDF), Joyce Banda (PP) and Peter Mutharika (DPP).
