Prophet Madhlopa admits ‘sinful’ background, storms Kasungu

Prophet Vasco Madhlopa, popularly known by his pulpit name Marshall 1, has confessed that it is by the grace of God that he was saved and now ministers in the Lord’s vineyard saying he comes from “a very sinful background that persecuted the Church” like Apostle Paul.

Madhlopa, who most people remember as a trickster, was executive director for Youth Network Africa – a youth grouping.

But Madhlopa is currently pulling crowds to himself since he started preaching. He has so far ministered in Zambia, South Africa and  in the country – in Lilongwe, Mchinji, Kasungu and Mzimba.

The youthful self-styled ‘Marshall ‘  said ahead of the “prophetic impartation conference” in Kasungu on February 25 that his salvation and change of direction in life was by grace.

“It is a miracle I fail to explain. Grace changed me. It’s by grace that God is using my life to win souls for his kingdom,” said Marshall 1.

Of the conference, he said it was open to everyone, especially his fellow men of God.

“I am ready to share the anointing [with them] so that we help each other in demonstrating the power of God. They need this power, [and] I’m not greedy,” he said.

During the conference, he said, he will also donate assorted items to over 500 expectant mothers of Kasungu in addition to imparting prophetic anointing to all pastors who will attend the conference.

Born in Malawi, Prophet Madhlopa is now based in South Africa and ministers under the Springs of Grace International Ministries.
