Multichoice is annoying its subscribers on its Gotv platform with continued removal of channels such as Channel O, Black belt and One Gospel.
Accoring to a statement , MultiChoice says it reserves the right to add or remove channels when assessing the performance and viability of channels on the platform.
“To facilitate a review of the content and achieve a diverse variety of programming, we took a decision to remove this channel,” reads the statement which announces the removal of OneGospel channel on the platform.
But subscribers have expressed disappointment over the company’s lack of consultation when choosing channels to remove.
According to MultiChoice Malawi Marketing Manager Chimwemwe Nyirenda, the company does not own any channel but only out-sources channels from around the world and puts them into packages to suit a variety of viewing tastes and pockets.
In reviewing the offering, which is done on a continuous basis, MultiChoice ensures that subscribers continue to get a balanced variety of programming.
