Sailesi inches closer to Zambia’s Power Dynamos deal

Nyasa Big Bullets international midfielder Dalitso Sailesi is inching closer to seal a deal with Zambia top league side Power Dynamos.

Sailesi won the heart of many after an impressive performance at the just ended Cosafa Castle Cup tournament held in South Africa despite Malawi national football team failure to progress in group stages.

The lanky midfielder, who won the US$250 worth man of the man award, is expected to be offered a contract without going through the trouble of trials.

Bullets General secretary Albert Chigoga confirmed that discussions with their Zambian counterparts are at an advanced stage.

“What I can say is that Power Dynamos have indicated to take the player straight. No trials will be required,” Chigoga said.

He said Bullets would not block the player to pursue his professional career.

“We are just looking at some issues in the deal but we cannot stand in his way that’s his future.”

But he was noncommittal on the transfer fee which is reported to be in the region of K18 million.

“I can say anything about that because we still discussion once its done we will let the public know.”

Sailesi joined Bullets from Epac United alongside Jaffalie Chande four years ago with a K3 million deal for each of the players.
