If one may challenge this by the end of Friday in a court of law, the there will be crisis. The whole cabinet appointments will be illegal and illicit.

Let’s not indulge in rubbish talk here! Chilima is vice president. As long as I have lived I have never heard of a Vice president being reshuffled! Now he is no longer in DPP so Mutharika has not business a signing any DPP based work to him by virtue of himself getting himself out of DPP. So under which umbrella exactly did you want Chilima to be re-shuffled? Just leave DPP carry on with their work! Chenandolo, the president has reshuffled cabinet, not Vice President. After all he has not meet with the cabinet apart from church or cultural ceremonies according to his confession for now7 months. He has not meet the president since he resigned from the party, he works on his own. Where does he take instruction from? Do you give him instructions. Where is his submissive heart to government. He is busy with his movement. The president appoint cabinet in accordance to the constitution powers conferred upon him. So stop worrying about your Vice President.

You have got it! its the cabinet he has reshuffled in fact the President is being polite because he is still just doing his despite having an uncoperative Vice, who has actually started his own party! Personally I think this part of the constitution should be changed because twice now this has happened and each case I am not convinced that it helped Malawi in any way! I agree with you Mr Muza

By dumping DPP Chilima declared himself surplus to requirements. Its unfortunate the constitution didn’t forsee this but it has happened quite a lot that we as.a nation could have now put in required remedies. I can guarantee you if the constitution will not change all vice Presidents will behave the same, who doesn’t want free monies after all? Imagine family where a husband and wife have separated but the relevant institutions are refusing to grant divorce papers will any parties accuse each other of not fulfilling matrimonial duties?

Well he still has got his position as a vice president, so as long he keeps lying to people or dreaming that he’s got jobs at his office you can not force the president to give him a job. The president has the right to chose people who are productive enough and who embrace team work. Chilima doesn’t know anything about team work even at airtel we was a self praising individual. Whether he is mentioned or not mentioned. Does it change the reality that he is the Vice President? Why has APM chosen to make an idiot of himself. The reality is that SCK is the Vice President according to the constitution. It does matter whether one old ostrich decides to bury its head in the political sand. It is folly to pretend to exercise power which you don’t have.
