Schoolgirl commits suicide after being warned of multiple love affairs
A 15 year old Primary School Pupil from Chitukula Primary School in Lilongwe has committed suicide after being warned of indulging herself into multiple sexual relationship by her parents.
Kanengo Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) Sub-Inspector Laban Makalani identified the deceased as Bertha Anock who hails fromChabaza Village in the Area of Traditional Authority Chitukula in Lilongwe.
Makalani said Anock who was staying with her parents hanged herself on January 28th, 2017.
“Her parents discovered on 18th January this year that their daughter was going out with different boys and warmed her against the malpractive regarding her age. She then went missing on 28th January
2018 only to be found hanged in a tree about 100 metres from her parent’s home” explained Makalani.
The Police Publicist further revealed that the mecial report indicated that the deceased died due to strangulation.
Meanwhile, Makalani has appealed to the general public to avoid killing themselves whenever they are trobled but rather seek advice from close friends and relatives.
