Secondary teacher wins K51m in PremierBet

Lady luck has smiled at a 31-year-old female Thunga Community Day Secondary School teacher Sphiwe Khomera after winning a whopping K51 million in PremierBet navigator game on Monday.

During the presentation of the windfall on Tuesday, the teacher of Thunga Community Day Secondary School in Thyolo said she could not believe when she noticed that she won.

“I was playing the game late at night while in bed. I placed K5 000 on each of the two slots, but forgot to cash out as dozed. Suddenly, I woke up and realised the game was still on. I could not wait but cash the money out immediately with each slot showing over K25 million win,” said Khomera.

Asked what she will do with the money, the teacher, who comes from Traditional Authority Chakhumbira in Ntcheu, said she plans to invest into business, build a house and buy a car.

Her husband, who accompanier Khomera to the presentation said he has supporting his wife although it is risky.

The husband disclosed at one time Khomera lost K200 000.

Chileka Township-based man Vitumbiko Chirwa was another weekend’s big winner of PremierBet after raking K18 million in aviator game.

In his remarks, PremierBet online manager Mafuno Nathundu said they were happy to see more big winners through their online betting platforms.

He said navigator and aviator games are similar only that with the former’s maximum stake is K50 000.
