Senior Chief Lukwa tells Malawians to support President Chakwera

Senior chief Lukwa of Kasungu has told Malawians to give all their support to President Lazarus Chakwera’s presidency to meet his vision and goals.
The chief said this on Saturday in Lilongwe during the commemoration of Kamuzu Day activities held in Lilongwe.
The senior chief said former President Kamuzu Banda accomplished most of what he wanted to achieve as state president because he had the support from all Malawians.

Senior Chief Lukwa was among the chiefs welcoming the President at KIA-pic by Lisa Kadango Malango
“He received the support from all corners of the country, this is why he accomplished most of what he had planned for this country.
“People did not look at the district where he was coming from, Kasungu, no. This is why this country developed tremendously during his era.
“President Chakwera also needs the same support. He has his vision and aspirations but that can only be achieved if he has the support of all Malawians,” said senior chief Lukwa.
A representative of the Kamuzu family Ken Kandodo also said President Chakwera needs support of all Malawians if he has to achieve his vision and agenda as the state president.
Government has from this year taken over the organisation of the day from the Kamuzu family and the Nkhoma Synod of the CCAP.
Kamuzu was the country’s first state president and died 25 years ago in South Africa.
