Shame the Devil ministry launched: Rev Chitsonga says devil attacking churches in Malawi

Shame the Devil Ministry, a self reliant faith based organisation comprised of members from different denominations for one accord in preaching and conducting outreaches, launched its ministry on Saturday in Lilongwe.

Rev Dr Chitsonga: Head of Assemblies of God Church in Malawi was guest of honour

The launching ceremony took place at Nalikule Teachers Training College Hall in the district.

Speaking during the ceremony, founder and director of Shame the Devil Ministry Peterson Nachanje said he was grateful with the new direction the ministry is taking.

“The Ministry is growing in terms of fulfilling its objectives of demonstrating God’s love between the poor and the rich and in encouraging people to rely on the Holy bible at all times in all matters of life,” Nachanje said.

In his statement, Nachanje called on leaders in various aspects of life to be in the forefront in assisting the underprivileged so that they should feel they are part of the society.

“In villages there are different classes of people, some are needy and leaders should take a big role in addressing their problems.
People never care about the disadvantaged, but it is everyone’s responsibilities to advocate for the underprivileged,” he said.

President of Malawi Assemblies of God Dr. Edward Chitsonga was guest of honour at the ceremony.

Chitsonga congratulated the Ministry and urged it to be a blessing in spreading love among people than to be at the mercy of the devil.

“Devil is attacking churches; people scramble for positions, gossip, and jealousy among others. Be the light of the world to meet the needs of the society,” he said.

As a prelude to the launch, the ministry through its compassionate arm Love in Deeds (LID) distributed rice, blankets, bibles, soap to widows, orphans and the elderly.

One of the beneficiaries Zelifa Mthindwa from Bunda in Lilongwe was delighted with the gesture saying the assistance has come at a right time.

“I am very thankful with the gifts I have received. The blankets will help me during winter seasons,” Mthindwa said.

When you hear someone mentioning about God or Jesus. Test his/her spirit. Is the spirit from God or not. Act 17:11; Epha4:1

That is the perfect answer. 1000x thumbs up in spirit… BTW check out Resurrection Baptist Church. I can vouch for them personally as KJV only, correct Gospel (faith alone, no adding works to salvation, eternal security) and soul winning. Chinsapo, Lilongwe. +265995108889 Pastor Steve Kambalazaza.

First thing you should ask before going to this church. Is their gospel message correct? (Salvation by faith alone, eternal security, not of works) If yes, good. If no, then the truth is not in them so stay away.
