Shammah releases new single with 97 records studio

One of the upcoming gospel artist in the country, Shammah Stollah aka Shammah Vocals has released a single track titled ‘No reverse’ which is striking the airwaves in the country with energetic vibes and power.

The newly released ‘No reverse’ song has been produced by Andrew Michembo aka Jay Emm with 97 records studio in Machinjiri, Area 8, Blantyre.

When one listens to the newly released song one could easily notice that the artist took time to come up with the song and there is talent and creativity in him.

Speaking in an interview with Malawi News Agency (Mana) in Lilongwe, Tuesday Stollah said the song encourages all Christians not to give up but counting all joy when being tempted by devil because have Christ as their Saviour.

“Most Christians nowadays move away from God when there are passing through hard circumstances like poverty, sickness, losing jobs, marriages just mention a few. I encourage them to continue with deep prayers for God to change their situations,” he observed.

Shammah Vocals said he noticed that he has talents some time back after approached him by prominent artist like Khama Khwiliro to be one of backing vocals, despite that he also compose and write songs.

“Other musicians spotted talents in me and I want to assure all my fans that I will give them well prepared hits of music through live performances,” he assured.

Shammah ventured into music in 2011 and has one album to his name titled ‘Yesu amakukhala’ which was released in September 2016.

According to Shammah his beats are mixed up with local instruments like drums to be different with local gospel touch.

“We have had gospel music in Malawi that sounds more like South African songs so this is my path I choose to be different,” he highlighted.

As of now Shammah is planning to have a charity tour in schools through the same music ministry.

“I have a movement called Shammah vocals movement it is for anyone who is interested in charity works so we collect whatever we can in terms of money and approach nearby schools first but this will be next year,” he discolsed.

The ‘No reverse’ hit singer said was confident that his fans and all gospel music fans abroad would like the new track saying the song carries  important message of encouragement.

He urged his fans to receive the new track with pride by purchasing and downloading it, saying it would soon be in hard copies and online music stores.

Shammah said people should expect more anointing songs in 2018 that would be stand out and carry message of psalms.

“I will release a single track next year titled ‘Zikomo Yesu’ in which I have featured Khama Khwiliro,” Shammah pointed out.
