Silver leads league, Bullets at the bottom

Defending TNM Super League champions, Silver Strikers have taken an early lead on the top of the table in their pursuit to defend the title with 3 points having netted four goals in the first game against Big Bullets.

Mighty Wanderers with 3 points and two goals after opening the 2012-2013 season with a 2-1 victory to Moyale Barracks are coming second.

The Area 3 giants, Civo United are basking on third slot with 3 points having scored two goals on Sunday against the Area 30 cops Blue Eagles while Azam Tigers is chasing them closely on fourth place with 3 points and 2 goals, which they accumulated in their 2-1 victory to Escom United.

Silver Strikers

On fifth position, are the Salima based soldiers, Mafco FC with points and two goals as well. Mafco baptised new comers Kabwafu United 2-1.

The old capital city based soldiers; Red Lions are on sixth slot with 3 points after their 1-0 victory
to visiting Blantyre United.

On seventh position are the new comers Kamuzu Barracks having accumulated 3 points on Sunday against Epac FC.

Bvumbwe Research, who are also new comers in the League are on eighth position with no any point after they are yet to play this season while Moyale Barracks is on their back with a single goal but no any point after their loss to Nomads.

On tenth position is new look Escom United with a single goal without any point followed by  Blue Eagles with no point but managed to score 2 goals in their 2-1 loss to Civo United.

On 12th place is Kabwafu United, who have no point having netted once in their 2-1 defeat to Mafco FC, as Epac FC is behind them with no any point.

Blantyre United is on number 15 and embarrassingly on the bottom of the table is Big Bullets
with no point having conceded 4 goals to Silver Strikers.

So far, Big Bullets midfielder Douglas Chirambo has become the first player to be shown marching orders in the 2012-2013 season during their opening match against Silver Strikers.

Mighty Wanderers striker Diverson Chilemba is the first player to score a brace in one match against Moyale Barracks.
