Silver Strikers are hoping to bolster their squad with the double signing of champions Big Bullets pair rejuvenated striker Chiukepo Msowoya and midfielder Dalitso Sailesi.
The Bankers have set their sights on the two players and Silver’s acting general secretary Fred Kalonga confirmed the development saying when transfer window opens, they will launch the bid to sign the players.
“Indeed the supporters came to us requesting the committee to bet on board these two players. But we told them that as a committee we are yet to decide on that,” Kalonga said.
The development comes in the wake of allegations that Victor Limbani is intending to return to Bullets.
“However we are still going to sign some players during the mid season break. We need a goalkeeper, a defending and attacking midfielders,” he said.
Bullets Vice-General Secretary Kevin Moyo said he was aware of Silver’s intention to entice their players.
“We are aware of their interest but there’s nothing official about this. There is also no player request,” Moyo said.
“But we are not letting our players go and we are also doing well and I don’t think the players would want to leave now players,” he added.
The banker are now keen on reinforcing their squad with more players hile Bullets who are keen to defend the title would not let their key star leave.
