Silver rejects K4 m offer from Rollers for Harawa

Silver Strikers have turned down a K4 million offer from Botswana based side Township Rollers offered to sign the Bankers striker Green Harawa.

Harawa who passed trials at the club and has been discussing personal contractual terms with the club will be back in the country on Tuesday, this is according to Silver General Secretary Mike Tembo.

Tembo without disclosing the actual price tag the club set, described the offer as very little for a player of Harawa’s caliber.

He, however, said the door is still open for Rollers to come up with another offer.

Tembo said the player’s return will be a great boost for the club ahead of their final two games of the 2014-15 season.

Silver will be travelling to the northern region this weekend to complete their first round with a game against Karonga United on Saturday before facing Moyale Barracks 24 hours later.
