Steve Wazisomo graces vulnerable Malawians affected by Cyclone in Chiradzulu

Malawi’s gospel music ace, Steve Wazisomo Muliya, has become the first ambassador of Jesus Christ to reach out to hundreds of vulnerable people who were recently displaced by Cyclone Freddy in Chiradzulu District.
The adroit composer and deft radio and television personality mobilised assorted items from his followers through various platforms, including his social media.
Speaking after his evangelism with works, Muliya emphasised that art is a very powerful tool that can be used to benefit the community.
He said; “Artists are very crucial tools. If used properly, they can help in generating resources for victims.”
Malawi’s president, Lazarus Chakwera, declared the country a state of natural disaster after thousands of people were rendered destitute while hundreds others died due to the adverse effects of Cyclone Freddy.
Subsequently, the President launched ‘Tigwirane Mania initiative’ aimed at encouraging Malawians to muster more resources for relieving the victims of the bad weather.
Meanwhile, Muliya has implored fellow artists to use their influence for the betterment of their communities.
