Sumani dismisses BB interest, happy at Wanderers
Mighty Be Forward Wanderers defender Ted Sumani has rubbished talk of him leaving Lali Lubani Road side to join rivals Nyasa Big Bullets.
Champions Bullets are chasing for Sumani’s signature after his loan spell with the Nomads from Blantyre United has ended.
Sumani confirmed he is not interested in reports linking him with a move to Bullets.
He told Nyasa Times on Thursday: “There was nothing in the talk of a transfer away from Wanderers. I’m happy at my current club; it’s the best in the country. I’ll continue to work here and be happy where I am.
Sumani went on to states that, “Wanderers is in my blood and I cannot move an inch to join another team. In fact l cannot wait for the 2016 season to commence.”
Sumani had a brilliant 2015 season after the injury of Francis Mlimbika.
Meanwhile, two Silver Strikers players Green Harawa and Ndaziona Chatsalira have put pen to paper to a Mozambican club called Club Ferreviario De Nampula.
Chatsalira told Nyasa Times in an e-mail from Mocambique that they have already done medical tests and that they are set for the club.
“I thank God because we are almost done. This is a dream to come true and l will work hard because there is a lot of competition,” said Chatsalira.
I think Sumani is another kind of player, had it been all players in Malawi thinks as you do probably football could have improve. Stay unique Sumani(kuona maso ankhono nkudekha).
