The Super League of Malawi (Sulom) has released a fixture for the plays-off games to be played from this Friday to Sunday at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.
Three TNM Super League clubs that were relegated at the end of last season will have a second chance to fight for their survival and remain in the elite league.
The participating teams are Wizards F.C, Aibourne Rangers and Dedza Young Soccer, who finished on position 13th, 14th and 15th last season.
They face each other in the play –off with the fixture indicating that Airborne Rangers will play Wizards FC on Friday.
Dedza will play Rangers on Saturday before winding up with a fixture against Wizards on Sunday.
According to Super League of Malawi (Sulom) General Secretary Williams Banda, all the arrangements have been finalised.
A single team that will accumulate more points from the play offs will return into the Super League, bringing the total of participating teams to 16.
A resolution to have 16 teams in the major local league was made at a Sulom executive committee members General Assembly last year.
Several soccer commentators were in support of Dedza to automatically become the 16th team having finished on 13th position and tied on points with Mzuni F.C only that Mzuni had a superior goal difference.
