The winner Martha Kavala received a K20 million cheque at a presentation ceremony held in Machinga last Friday.

NBS increased the prize money from K15 million in 2014 and 2015 to  K20 million this year.

The winner is given an opportunity to choose whether to receive a house equivalent to the cash the bank provides.

Speaking after the presentation ceremony, Machinga District commissioner Reinghard Chavula hailed NBS for introducing the competition which she said has changed and will continue benefit the lives of Malawians.

She therefore asked Malawians to bank with NBS if they want their lives to be transformed.

Chavula also asked other companies to provide Malawians with prizes that can change the lives of Malawians.

According to Chavula, the K20 million will not only benefit Kavala but also her relations.

NBS Chief Executive Officer Benadetta Mandoloma advised Malawians to serve their money through NBS.

She said only people who serve are the one’s who develop.

Kavala has become the third winner after other two women one from Rumphi in 2014 and a Lilongwe based business lady Jessie Kachala  in 2015.
