Thousands jet in for Bushiri religious festival

Malawi has now turned into a religious tourism attraction as thousands have jetted in the country to be part of ECG The Jesus Nation Church Salvation festival to be held Saturday in Salima.

ECG Spokesperson Ephraim Nyondo said the Church expects almost 6000 people at the event.

Nyondo said this is the biggest annual festival for their members, followers, partners and the general public from across the world to celebrate the beauty of accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.

The event is associated with different sporting activities, musical performances, various games, dances, eating, Bible studies, interactions, baptism and sharing God’s Word.
