Tiyuni off to a winning start

Tiyuni Football club  which was launched last week has started their campaign fort op flight promotion on a higher note after they thumped one of the long serving team in the K9 million Chipiku Stores Central Region Football Association League, Balang’ombe Real Bombers by four goals to one.

Sponsored by young entrepreneur Kamphinda Gowa Nyasulu, Tiyuni played it’s first game of the season on Saturday with Balang’ombe at Nankhaka Stadium.

The new team impressed with the football os crisp passes  and registered  their first goal in less than 15 minutes of play from Reason Nkhoma.

Coached by veteran coach Stain Chirwa, former of Silver Strikers , Tiyuni dominated the larger part of the game and were comfortably leading by three goals to zero with goals from Bright Phiri and Richard Mussa for the second and third goal respectively.

Tiyuni increased their tally through substitute Alison Tembo as Balang’ombe Real Bombers managed to pull a face saver five minutes  from the whistle after Chiyanjano Msiska managed to beat two defenders before he scored past Blessings Banda goalie of Tiyuni.

Speaking after the match, sponsor and patron of Tiyuni, Kamphinda Gowa Nyasulu said he hwas pleased with the start.
