TNM Super League action returns Sunday

TNM Super League action will only return to the pitch on Sunday with no game on Saturday to allow Flames supporters to go and cheer their team as they take on the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

According to a member of the Super League of Malawi (Sulom)  executive, all games have been scheduled for Sunday after looking at the importance of the Malawi game and the need to have more supporters on the day.

“We want all the players, officials and supporters to throng the stadium to offer vocal support to the boys,” he said.

The fixture released by Sulom has some mouth watering games with defending champions Escom United returning to action against Zomba United.

Bullets FC will entertain Red Lions in the pick of the weekend counter at the Kamuzu stadium.

Mighty Wanderers will be at home against Blantyre United at the Balaka stadium.
