Trevor Kajawa appointed coach for Nanzikambe FC
Just two days after he was sacked from Super League outfit Premier Bet Wizards after dismal run of form, coach Trevor Kajawa has secured another opportunity with the Masters Security Southern Region Football premier league side Nanzikambe F.C where he has been offered the post of head coach.
According to the information gathered by Nyasa Times, Kajawa will replace Rodrick Mwenda who is the owner of the club and was acting as headcoach.
The former Max Bullets coach is expected to oversee his first training session on next week.
In an interview with Nyasa Times, Kajawa confirmed the development, saying he is yet to sign the dotted lines of the deal.
Kajawa however said he is set to build a formidable side and take Nanzikambe forward.
“Yes the team officially approached me asking for my services but I will comment further when it’s done deal. I am ready to take the club forward,” he said.
He added that he is more than ready to take another challenge in the lower league and will prove to the people that he is still a good
coach who can build a winnibg team.
“Being sacked from Wizards doesn’t mean am finished I will concetrate on my football academy (Kangaroo) where I am the Technical Director and if Nanzikambe gives me the opportunity I will try to help the team by taking it to a good position,” said Kajawa.
Nanzikambe joined the southern region premier league this season after finishing on top position in the 2016 Division 1 league.
The team is currently on position 8 in the premier league.
