The new singles titled “Makonda Makonda” a remake of an old song by the MBC Band and “Green, Red, Black
Love”; taken from his forthcoming album called “Me & My Music”.

Trumel, also a record producer, has been working on the upcoming 12-track self-produced album since 2014.

He now assuredly says, “Me & My Music album is almost done” with a message to his fans within and outside Malawi.

The two singles come out as the singer gears up for the release of the debut album, to be unveiled on 1st March, 2015 at Waka Waka Hotel in Lilongwe before he bring the launch to the comercial city of Blantyre.

The new promotional singles are available for download online via Malawi- music.com < http://www.malawi-

Trumel, famed for his inimitable conscious-reggae music style, last year released the first single of the album
titled “Reggae is in my veins”, a song tailored to clarify the fallacy people have on him as a reggae-dancehall artist, saying he is not Rasta but simply a musician who does reggae music.

“My music is positive, so is my message, it carries spiritual, love and issues to do with what is happening within
our different communities, in our everyday life. It’s is full of teachings. Every song on the album reflects my character and my message. I want to change people’s mind-set towards the type of music that I do,” he
explains.
Trumel said his compositions are inspired by renowned Jamaican reggae artists such as Bob Marley, Jah Cure, Gyptian, Jah Vinci and George Nooks.

He came on the local music scene with hit singles such as “Let It Go”, “Put Him Higher” and “Party (Lalala)”,
taken from his 2013 mixtape titled “Step Ahead” released under Nde’feyo Entertainment
