Turkey second earthquake hits 5 Malawian students

Authorities say five Malawian students living in Turkey were affected by the second earthquake which hit the country on February 20, 2023.
There are 80 Malawian students enrolled in various universities in earth quake prone Turkey.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson John Kabaghe has confirmed that the five students have since been relocated to safer places.
Kabaghe said the five students were also affected by the first earthquake that displaced 20 Malawians.
He said, no Malawian has died  and  the  five have been moved to a safer location now.
Over 40 000 have died and several others have been displaced due to the earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria.
