Uladi unwell,  fails to show up for Times Exclusive television program

Peoples Party acting president Uladi Mussa is sick, just days after he spent a day in a police cell on suspicious naturalisation of 50 foreign when he was Home Affairs minister.

Uladi: Not fit and well

He was due to appear for a talk show program Times Exclusive on Saturday evening at 08:30pm.

“Times Television would like to inform its valued viewers that due to the sudden illness of this week’s Times Exclusive guest, People’s Party acting president Honourable Uladi Mussa, the programme’s host, Brian Banda, will instead interview Nyasa Manufacturing Company (NMC) chairperson, Mr Konrad Buckle,” says a statement from Times Television.

It was not immediately known what Uladi was suffering from.

Mussa handed himself to the graft busting body, the Anti-Corruption Bureau and spent a night at Lilongwe Police Station.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges when he appeared before court.

Mussa described the arrest as political persecution, an allegation vehemently denied by the ruling Democratic Progressive Party.
