Umunthu ministry holds love relationship seminar in Lilongwe

Residents of  Area 18 and other surrounding locations in Lilongwe on Sunday cerebrated Valentine’s day in style as Uthunthu ministry organized a relationship seminar dubbed ” Love Yathunthu” held at 18 Lodge  with an aim of helping people especially the youth on how to manage relationships.

Speaking in an interview with Channel for All Nations radio, founder of Uthunthu ministries Caswell Mkanda said, they thought of organizing the seminar after looking at the challenges people face in managing relationships.

“The foundation of any nation lies in the families and the relationships, therefore if we neglect relationships it means we are also neglecting the future of our nation,” he said.

He added that people cannot talk of God if they don’t talk of love.

“God is love and love is God, despite that the bible has never recorded anything to do with valentine but the fact that we commemorate love which is God the day is worthy cerebrating,”  Mkanda said.

One of the participants Dickson Kilowe described the seminar as a wakeup call which will help people start managing their relationships and families well.

“This has completely changed our understanding especially on the meaning of relationships and how to manage it efficiently.” he said.

Uthunthu ministries started in 2014 to help raise the standard of living of people especially the youth and to bring order in ministry.
